I didn't understand even the 2nd line. Can anyone provide a simple installation file or driver to just paste somewhere? schrubej Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 So... Ive been searching and searching the forums. I dont get the other thread about using the terminal and all. I downloaded a patched appleairport2.kext and replaced the other one. That didnt work. I tried the driver from ralink, that freezes my computer. Can somebody please, without telling me to go to another forum, let me and everybody else know how to get the WMP54G wireless card with the ralink rt2500 chipset to work in os x86? Keep in mind alot of us are familiar with windows but are just learning mac. It is exciting, but sometimes frustrating at first. limbohz Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 the beta railink driver is posted here for the RT2500 chipset based cards. this one is older. tried the first one out on my tower and it saw an ethernet card i'll have to investigate more.
