Lordadmiral Drake
I have a Laptop with Sandy Bridge CPU (as given in signature) and I'm trying to get CPU power management to work. To that I've done the following so far: Made a SSDT using Revogirls script and put it into Clovers respective folder. Reinstall vanilla AICPM.kext (using patched BIOS) Set Clover config accordingly. Now here's my problem: I dont get any KP from aicpm or else, but I don't get through desktop. In Clover tables dropping menu I see 3 SSDTs at the top and another one near the bottom If I drop the first or second or both I get a white screen at the end of the boot process. If I drop the third one (too) I appearently get a login screen which is extremely distorted and unresponsive. If I drop the last one (or all) I dont even get to these but am stuck in "command line" (Same if I dont enable graphics injection). Lordadmiral Drake
I tried according to Clover instructions on P and C states generator. It gave me the same results. Also, it appears that Clover ignores half of the settings in config.plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294176-need-some-help-with-cpu-powermanagement/#findComment-1971921 Share on other sites
Lordadmiral Drake
Could it be possible that my problem isnt actually power management related? I don't get an KPs or error messages Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294176-need-some-help-with-cpu-powermanagement/#findComment-1973444 Share on other sites
