raj47i Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Hello, I am trying to setup OSX Mavericks Hackintosh on my new build - Intel i7 4770K Asus Sabertooth Z87 Latest Bios Update 16xx was installed ! HDMI, 1080p, intel HD 4600 UEFI SecureBoot set to "Other OS" CSM boot settings is "Enabled" VT-x is "Disabled" Samsung 840 Pro SSD (x3 256GB) OS X has a dedicated SSD ESXi, Linux and Windows will use the remaining 2 SSDs Areca 1214-4i Raid ( Raid 5 of 4x WD Red 3TB ) Not plans to use it as a Boot disk and OS X already detects it without any issues. After the installation, I can boot to the system in "SafeMode" only. raj47i Posted November 25, 2013 Author Share Posted November 25, 2013 I later tried to install with clover. + And all I needed was a FakeSMC.kext and my Mac USB drive. + Graphics is working out out of the box with Clover. + Got WiFi with USB - RT5370 ( Injected kext with ProductID ) - App Store login is not working, So is iCloud and iMessages. I probably need to find SMBios for iMac 14, 2 for Clover and a valid Serial number and Ethernet Mac * Now I need to put the kexts for Audio, Ethernet, etc. will try that next weekend.
