Toucanet
I have installad Mavericks on my PC but When I boot it, it reports me "Still waiting for root device" after a while. It have read here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278075-about-still-waiting-for-root-device/ That I have to add the file AHCIPortInjector.kext in order to make it work. But how con I add it (Mavericks does not start). I have tried to download it from another computer, put it in an USB drive, And then add it with the terminal in the Mavericks installation, but I am not be able to ripair permission, since chown command doesn't work (it reports me read only filesystem even thought I was able to copy the kext in the OS X drive). How can I solve the problem? Is there a way to make Mavericks start with a command in the bootloader And then add the kext And repair permission directly from the OS?
