SLV
Hi everyone. I installed Mavericks on Asus P8Z77-LX MB and got the message on the attached photo. How did I install? 1. Method from applelife, where (shortly) I restore InstallESD.dmg/BaseSystem.dmg to a flash drive (in my case it was a 10GB partition on the same HDD where ML was installed), copy OS X Install ESD/Packages to System/Installation, put mach_kernel to the root of the flash drive, install Clover, put FakeSMC etc to /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.9, enable InjectKexts and then the installer should boot and make its work. But it didn't boot. The message was the same. I used the latest FakeSMC + VoodooHDA and lnx2mac driver for ethernet (they both are the latest too). 2. If the first attempt failed, I formatted the drive and restored one of the pre-installed systems without hackintosh kexts. And after that I did the same thing with Clover, kexts etc. And The message is in the attach. Anyway, I have 10.8.5 installed and it's working. I tried to delete kexts, use other versions, remove DSDT. Everytime I fixed permissions and rebuilt cache. My computer config is in the signature. Clover version is 2236. I installed it from 10.8.5 to the Mavericks drive (resulted in a blue clover screen without any pictures or themes, but working; Mavericks didn't boot) and now it's installed on the ML drive. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293485-asus-p8z77-lx-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites
carbo178
Try without "with kext" and "npci=0x2000" in boot args Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293485-asus-p8z77-lx-kernel-panic/#findComment-1963758 Share on other sites
k3nny
Slightly off topic: a blue Clover screen means that the selected theme does not exist in your theme folder.
