Gringo Vermelho
RAM and CPU are fine, your E5400 is 64-bit and can run OS X with an unmodified kernel. However there is a lot more to a PC than the CPU. You must be more specific, none of our users can see inside your PC. Post at least the make and model of your motherboard chipset, on-board LAN, sound and graphics.
vinayakagaarwal1996
e5400 is 32-bit. edited the post thanks!
Gringo Vermelho
You are wrong, the E5400 is 64-bit. Even Intel agrees with me: http://ark.intel.com/products/40478/ ICH7 is compatible. Note that there are several versions of the ICH7, some are problematic. Still missing information.

Gringo Vermelho
And they were right. Why ask about it again? Your hardware is the same as it was back in March and you have already been told by several people that it will never work. Apple is not going to add support for +5 year old Intel graphics hardware that they've never used in their own machines. also i have an LCD as a monitor so inbuilt sound. What?
theconnactic
And they were right...I don't understand what persuaded you to post again - your hardware is the same as it was back in March and you have already been told by several people that it will never work. Apple is not going to add support for +5 year old Intel graphics hardware that they've never used in their own machines. Right, and I will post here exactly what i posted in the first iteration of this topic: From an ex-GMA3150 user: don't waste your time (P.S.: and, like we all see, our time). Buy the discrete card (a HD5450 also will do): there's no solution when the chipset of the card is not supported.Unlike Linux, graphics drivers in OSX are not open source and there's little we can do. I was a noob once (not so long ago, hehehe) and when i was confronted with answers like that, i'd hope it was an inaccurate one. That's not the case here: if we could help you with your card, we would, but in this case there's no hope at all. All the best!
