Picasso
I have 10.8.5 and Mavericks DP7 in mobo ga-z87x-ud5h and i74770k Both work fine. But the startup is sometimes fast, other times slow. I don't use DSDT, only Chamaleon 2262 and Wizard. I have setting: Kernel Cache Yes, Restart Fix and nothing else. Smbios MacPro 3.1 Any ideas to check? Thanks! tanner
Try verbose boot and see what may be causing the boot to stall a bit. Kext malfunctions and duplications can cause booting times to slow down. That is the best solution I could think of atm.
Picasso
No error. It´s sometimes very slow. I checked my SSDT, appear to work fine, I think I have a FakeSMC. problem or Smbios. I don´t know how to checka Hackintosh works fine and correct.
tanner
You can try and download the corresponding fakesmc.kext for 10.8.5. A tool I would highly recommend using to diagnose the problem is "Champlist," it has an SMBIOS tab where you can view your settings etc.
