Tucker28
Hi, After a few days, I got 10.8.4 installed and running on my GA-EP45-UD3P v1.6 FB with a Q6600 CPU. All is fine except one thing. Audio is working, speedstep is working, power management is working, and the graphics card is working fine until I launch WoW, at least it's working good enough for me not to notice an issue. In Windows 7 on this same machine, this PC gets in the high 80's and 90's while running on Ultra. But when I run WoW on OSX, Ultra gets 1 frame every few seconds. The menu lists it as 1 fps, but it would be more accurate to say 0.25 fps or lower. Bringing it down to fair only gets me up to the teens on fps, and low teens at that. When I had this machine set up with Snow Leopard, this same card sailed through WoW at over 100fps on Ultra. So, I know I missed something on this install. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Scott

Tucker28
Thanks, that did have a beneficial effect. It did boost my FPS a little bit. My Cinebench score went from 15 fps to 24 fps. Trying the game now gives me playable conditions if left on the Good setting, and WoW is recommending Good instead of Fair now, so that's something. When I switch to to Ultra, I am getting 3 fps... entirely unplayable, however it is improved over the 0.25 before. There is still an enormous discrepancy between running it under OSX and Windows however, something I didn't have the last time I had this machine up in Snow Leopard. Maybe it's something I have to live with if I want to keep Mountain Lion over Snow Leopard? Not sure. Is there anything else to try? Also, where did you get the EFI string? I want to keep up with the OSx86 scene even after I get it set up and purring. Thanks, Scott
