But it refuses to install on the partition i have formatted for MAC using the Disk Utility . vmnoodle Posted July 16, 2013 Author Share Posted July 16, 2013 i guess its already MBR as windows 8 is already sitting on partition one . i did formatted the partition to HFS using disk utility also done repairing the disk . but the prblem still persists . quake Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 If you are doing a retail install, it won't work. Retail can only be installed on GUID unless you mod the image. What method of install are you using?
