Hi people, so this my 3rd topic in 2 days. I was trying to iatkos ml2 on my Alienware for the past 2 days, but just gave it up and instead decided to go the Retail way.

So i have installed it successfully using -v -f ncpi=0x3000 bootflag on first boot. The installation went well. But now I can not boot into it. I am getting some error.Screen shot below.

Does anyone have a clue on how to resolve it?

help would be appreciated :)

Specs :

CPU:

Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2192 MHz

GPU:

Intel® HD Graphics 3000

and NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M

I deleted all of them but I still get the same error..any idea what else can be the problem??

The dsdt was not mine. So now i deleted it, and booted with -f -v flag but still i get the same error..

Can you think of any other possible cause for this type of error?

Your issue is during the early stage of the bootloader. this has nothing to do with kext yet.

GraphicsEnabler is set to "Yes" if not specified, so i suggest you to disable it by typing:  GraphicsEnabler=No -f -v

if not, then ask again

Which tool did you used to make the usb installer, and what flags are you using? It looks like just a random KP, boot again with just -f -v

I used my iMac (Mountain LIOn) to create the usb.

so i got through the kernel panic, but now the problem is my trackpad is not working and the graphics are really weird and have greenish tinge..

see screenshot.. any kext(s) that could solve my problem?

EDIT : So I did manage to get through this error too, and now the trckpad aslo works :D

but i have a weird problem that i can use the trackpad to navigate but when i click anything, there is no response, same with the keyboard also.

And not to forget, i am not getting hd resolution and acceleration from Intel HD 3000..how can i get that..?

Remove appleps2controller kext and install voodoops2 using a USB keyboard and mouse ofcourse....

For your hd3000:

Try this http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2193

Yeah, the trackpad and keyboard work now :D

I also followed artur's guide for enabling full resolution but that didnt work for me i have 1024x768(screenshot below) at the moment.any idea how can i gain full acceleration with it?

I had windows 7 installed first and on the second partition I installed Mountain lion. So in windows I have hfs+ drivers therefore I can easily browse through mac hd and manage kexts.

Ok so now I will reinstall those 2

Kexts and let you know..
