Should I wait longer? usually wait about 5min or so before giving up... Should I wait longer? usually wait about 5min or so before giving up... Try switching between platform=ACPI, platform=X86PC, and platform=ADP2,1 on the Darwin boot screen. I, too, had the same problems... Then I removed the other nForce driver I had installed and installed another one and that fixed it. What specs are you running? Should I wait longer? usually wait about 5min or so before giving up... Reboot only works for some in ACPI, if you want it so bad try with platform=X86PC, but shutdown does not work in this.
