dscobsct
hey everyone, ive set up an alienware m11x r1 with 10.8.2 everything is hunky dory except for one kext, EvilAppleACPIPlatform.kext. when loaded it works perfectly, the problem is on shutdown the laptop just hangs there, i think its trying to build a kext cache over and over and this kext is not playing ball. i need this kext for the battery info to be displayed so i need a fix. without it shutdown is lovely, shame its spoiling an otherwise almost perfect rig. is there a way to stop osx caching at shutdown,or something i can do to the kext. any ideas guys. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288906-one-kext-spoiling-the-show/ Share on other sites
