Using a big TV as a PC display is bad idea. TV screens are designed to be watched from a significant distance (due to bigger size of pixels), while monitors are designed to be near the user (much smaller pixels). IMO But if you have wireless keyboard and mouse, a computer can be used while lying on the coach. I would try this for a change. For the rest I do prefer working on the desk with a 23" Apple Display.
