  1. Graphics - No GPU Power Management

From Macnn.com Hopefully a fix will be among them.
  2. Graphics - No GPU Power Management

GTX570 here and same problem. On ML It's idle temperature was 30-31ºC, on 10.9 it sits on full load and temperatures at 50-51ºC. I hope we get a fix from somewhere soon.
  3. MPlayerX vs Movist

I prefer Movist over MplayerX and both over VLC. Movist has playlist MplayerX doesn't. They both will play files automatically in same folder if they are sequential.
  4. Get iLife, iWork & Aperture for free

I use chameleon to boot, I've tried VMware trick and everything updated except for iMovie, however I've set to try it an hour later in the "update all" dropdown menu, both in vmware and in hackintosh. I've forgotten about it and rebooted in to windows to do some stuff. When I was back on OSX I've relaunched MAS and saw that iMovie was not on the update list anymore but it was moved to the purchased list. It's all installed now. I'm not sure what did it exactly but it's all fine and dandy. I'll go ahead and try to make a working clover usb stick anyway, as it seems comes handy in some situations. Wish me luck!
  5. Broadcom Ethernet BCM57781 kext needed for 10.9 DP2

Thank you both of you for this! Old kexts and others wasn't working after the upgrade to Mavericks but this fixed it.
  6. 10.8.5 out

Confirmed, everything is fine and dandy here. MB: Asrock Z68-Extreme4 GFX: N570GTX
  7. AGPM problem with MSI Nvidia GTX 570 on ML 10.8.3

I've managed to switch the drivers from default to web, I've tested it with GuildWars 2 and good FPS there, I think I'll be set once the AGPM properly working as well.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm new to the hackintosh scene and this was my first attempt to install OS X. I've successfully installed ML 10.8.3 on my computer couple of days ago, here's the spec; Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 CPU : Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz GFX : N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC I'm using Macmini5,1 SMBios and everything runs smoothly from what I can tell, however console spits out the following: [AGPM Controller] unknownPlatform kernel[0]: GFX0: Not usable But I can see GPU changing it's state on HW monitor. When it's idle it shows and when on load Did some benchmarking, Cinebench Heaven Temperatures when idle between 30-37 Celsius and when loaded like when doing Heaven benchmark it's between 61-65 Celsius. is it working properly? is this the full potential of it? I'm worried that I might burn my card with no PM. I've tried to fix AGPM by using Macpro5,1 smbios and editing the agpm.kext, AGPM work but with that GPU does not change states at all and benchmarks reports awful fps, in heaven I've gotten like 17fps max. Also tried inserting macmini section but that didn't work either. I've also installed the latest Nvidia's own drivers. Not sure if it's working or not as it defaults the OSX driver upon boot. I've been searching and searching for the last couple of days, trying the suggestions I can find on all over the web but nothing works. I'm so confused as to what to do, what to edit or what's the correct values are for my card. What's the next step? Do I ignore the AGPM controller issue? or is there a fix without taking a performance hit? Thanks in advance.
  9. Show Your OS X Desktop!

My humble setup Nocturne black menu bar Geektool Several icon sets slightly modified Wall by me
  10. Introduce yourself

Hi everyone, I'm Jake. I've been a Mac user (for a long time) up until 2 years ago, for various reasons I've sold my iMac and built a PC. I've been missing OS X lately and can't really afford a Mac right now, so I decided to try my hands on hackintosh. I was aware of Hackintosh scene for quite some time but wasn't interested due to being Mac user already. Long story short, I've successfully installed ML 10.8.3 on my 2 year old PC, I've had taken a backup of my iMac with time machine and was able to move my apps (and update them) and keychain and settings. It's been couple of days and everything runs pretty well. I have few issues and will be requesting your help. I want to thank you and many other communities that came up with solutions during hours of googling sessions. I really appreciate it.
