joe2009
A couple of days ago there was this problem. One of the internal hard drives attached to my hack generates this error: EBIOS Read Error: Media Error Block 0x3505b568 Sector 0 My system is structured in this way: 1) 128 GB SSD with OSX 10.8.3 2) 1 TB HD with 3 partitions: [Osx 10.8 rescue in the event of failure of the main system] + [Partition Data] + [Partition Applications particularly stout and little used, to take up less space on SSD] 3) Nas network with 2HD 2 TB with data and one partition for Time Machine Well .... the Internal Hard Disk Drive 1 TB (the number 2 in the list) for two days causes me the error and I have to keep it off otherwise the system will not boot (neither from SSD nor from USB memory stick with Chameleon). I know that the error refers to a problem of partitions. Launching from memory stick bootable the dos utility from Western Digital (because the HD is a WD Caviar Black 64 MB cache) refers the HD has no physical and firmware errors. I also tried to connect the HD via USB to OSX but it is not seen, and I did the same with a PC Win ... same result. I know that the HD is not lost because I can put it back on track using the utility from Western Digital with the option "Write Zeros" .... but it lose all data. Let me know if there is a way to start the Hack and prevent Chameleon me back this error and then, possibly, to repair the hd with disk utility (or other utility).
