Well. It first has to be an actual application, not a DMG or other document file. Second, it has to have PPC code. A universal binary shouldnt require rosetta, since it's universal, but it gives you the option of using the PPC code fork to run the application. With a PPC only App, I dont believe there's an option to open with rosetta, because you dont have a choice, you must open with rosetta.

Like i said before, it doesn´t appear

You have gotten info on a Disk Image, not an application.

A DMG is like an ISO - it is a file containing a disk image.

When you double-click on the DMG, the image gets mounted on the Desktop. It is basically a virtual hard drive.

If you double-click on that virtual hard drive (the one you got info on), it will open a window and show you an iTunes installer PKG inside.

Double-click on the installer PKG to install iTunes.

So, you need the Installer program to run in Rosetta.

Go to the Utilities folder and find Installer. Get Info on it and then click the "Open using Rosetta" checkbox.

You can find the Utilites folder by starting from the Desktop -> Go menu -> Utilities

You mentioned you were able to install iTunes and iLife, but are you still having problems with installing programs?

I'm using JaS 10.4.7 on an AMD system, and any installation would hang opening the package.

If you're running JaS OS X on an AMD system, check out this thread:

Grab the AMD_Enabler.zip. There's instructions a couple posts after the download how to install it. It solves the hanging issue.
