Greetings to all!

Recently I changed my processor for an i7-2600 (Sandy Bridge). I'm using an SSDT generated by Revogirl SSDT Script, but if I leave, in my mobo, EIST FUNCTION enabled it gives me a Kernel Panic. Anyone else have this kind of situation? If, yes, how can I fix that? Maybe a bad SSDT that I'm using?

With my old CPU, an i5-2500, it was not necessary, I mean, EIST FUNCTION was always enabled.

The question is, leaving EIST FUNCTION disabled on the motherboard, I'm endangering the life of my i7 2600 or some component else?

Specifications from my Hack are in my signature.

Thank you!!!

Did you forget remake DSDT and all SSDT after CPU change?

No... DSDT, (using EVEREST) and SSDT, (using Revo Girl Scriipt), are new... using iMac3,1 or iMac12,2 as SMBIOS gives me the same KP... if I want to boot with EIST FUNCTION enabled, I have to set DropDSDT=NO at Chameleon...

Do you think I need to remake it again, maybe using another tools/apps?

I read about Clover, I didn't tryed it 'cause I thought it a little bit complicated to me... now I'm not sure about what do I need to do ... anyway, thank you, Slice, for your help ... let's see if anyone else has / had that kind of problem as I ...
