iFIRE
put your dsdt in format dsdt.dsl or dsdt.bin in a folder zip and upload Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286641-dsdt-help-i-cant-figure-it-out/#findComment-1891916 Share on other sites
WaldMeister
An unmodified dsdt, bin or aml like mentioned by iFire would be better. The one provided in RTF is missing some brackets, so i just removed the lines that gave an error, and fixed what could be easily fixed. dsdt.dsl.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286641-dsdt-help-i-cant-figure-it-out/#findComment-1891954 Share on other sites
Tyler Worth
here is the zip fileDSDT Help.zip I used the one you gave me Lejenk, But I am stuck with one error and its the "Reserved method should not return a value (_BCM)" Now before i have four of the same errors and I replaced Return piece at the end to Return (Zero) and they went away with this one it has "Return (0x00)" and that is where Im stumped at. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286641-dsdt-help-i-cant-figure-it-out/#findComment-1892033 Share on other sites
WaldMeister
Return (0x00) is the same as Return (Zero). Will look in to the DSDT this evening, have to install Windows again first to my system. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286641-dsdt-help-i-cant-figure-it-out/#findComment-1892039 Share on other sites

WaldMeister
Wifi will not work, it's an Intel, you will need to replace the wifi card if you want wifi, the rest, well, check under device manager if you still have windows installed. Search for "device name osx86" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286641-dsdt-help-i-cant-figure-it-out/#findComment-1892336 Share on other sites

WaldMeister
Code for HD4000 added, if it does not work, boot with: DSDT=No These are the lines you should edit if it does not work: "AAPL,ig-platform-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x03, 0x00, 0x66, 0x01 }, "revision-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x03, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 } Change the 3 to 4.
