tical2k
I currently purchased an Asus g75vw to replace my dead HP. I got most of my stuff up and running, but sound is the last piece. I've searched the forums for info on this codec and don't see anything. Is my codec dump from linux incorrect? Apparently this audio device can be used with voodooHDA, but I'd like a better fix. Before I start diving into patching etc, I wanted to see if anyone else was working on this or has already done this. Here is a snip of the codec dump: !!HDA-Intel Codec information !!--------------------------- --startcollapse-- Codec: VIA ID 8446 Address: 0 AFG Function Id: 0x1 (unsol 0) Vendor Id: 0x11068446 Subsystem Id: 0x10431487 Revision Id: 0x100000 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286038-codec-via-id-8446-anyone-seen-this-before/ Share on other sites
