SLV
Hi everyone. I've installed ML 10.8.2, made it work almost perfectly but I can't use photoshop cs6. Why? Because it crashes my system or makes it completely hang. Usually it does harm at Loading preferences, loading plugins, sometimes on getting memory capacity. I tried to delete fonts in /library/fonts and i could see the window of photoshop but 5 sec later it hung up my system and i had to reboot. And after that I got a "restart you computer manually" message after entering my user account password. Also i found out that my system hangs if i launch /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS6.app/Contents/MacOS/sniffer_gpu. I think it's something with H/W acceleration/OpenGL/OpenCL but I really don't know what it exactly is. My system: Asus P8Z77-V LX, 16GB ram, Nvidia GTX670. I hope someone helps me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance. rcork
Do you see any errors in Console. Look to see if you see OpenGL Channel Exception Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285358-photoshop-cs6-crashes-my-system/#findComment-1876978 Share on other sites
SLV
In console I see nothing helpful at all. No errors at least if I search by "adobe" keyword. SLV
I haven't. Graphics are native with <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>device-properties</key> <string></string> With GraphicsEnabler=No i had exactly the same. Do i have to install? Where can i find them? Nvidia.com says i can choose everything except MacOSX for nvidia 600 series. And as for CUDA - my video card (GTX 670) is not in supported devices list. SLV
Got it work. What I've done? Downloaded 10.8.2 update package from here: http://www.insanelym...nvidia-drivers/, extracted everything with NVDA, GeForce, IOGraphics, IOVideo, IntelHD in names, intalled it with Kext Wizard, repaired permissions with it, updated cache and installed photoshop once again. And it works. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285358-photoshop-cs6-crashes-my-system/#findComment-1877036 Share on other sites
