autologic
Hello everybody. My system is a ThinkPad T43, ATI X300 Mobility. When I run OS X 10.4.6 off of AC power, the video and everything else runs flawless. But - when I boot the computer off battery power, OS X video runs at about 1/2 speed! Not choppy, but in slow motion. Also, if I boot off AC, let OS X boot, then disconnect from power, everything runs fine. What's wrong? Thanks in advance, autologic Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28518-slow-motion-video-on-battery/ Share on other sites
Bruce Wang
I read somewhere in the forum, you can disable SpeedStep in BIOS. Search "throttle" in the forum for related information. autologic
thanks bruce! i updated my thinkpad bios - what an update! there were new settings for just about everything, including speedstep options for both power and battery that weren't there before. thinkpad owners - update your BIOS if you have my problem!
