I would like to use the Gigabyte WLan PCI card with OSX but the system doesn't recognize the PCI wireless... I tried to install Ralink drivers for RT2500 PCI cards but they don't work because the chipset on my card is the RT2560F Could you help me ? Is there an OSX driver for this card ? Thank you Bye Specifics: Motherboard: Gigabyte K8NXP-9 WLan Gigabyte Card: GN-WPKG 5 volt pci wireless Chipset: Ralink RT2560F Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28336-wireless-pci-card-chipset-rt2560f/ Share on other sites
wesley
The driver is for RT2500 series, including RT2560F. Why, I have a miniPCI WLAN card with that chipset and it works fine on my Hackbook with the latest driver @ Ralink. pinchio
I have that chipset as well and Leopard 10.5.6 installed from IPC. I can't get the card to work with the drivers from RALINK. Would you mind giving more information on what you did to get your card working. Thanks I have the rt2560F chipset in case you were wondering. BigPimpin
pinchio, the post you replied to is over 2 years old. It is not likely you will get a response. It has been over 2 years since wesley posted anything at all.
