I need someone to give me advice about hooking up multiple batteries in a car for powering an inverter for longer periods without running the car? Anyone? reghost Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 a cheaper better route would be to puchase an OPTIMA Yellow Top Battery and hook up your inverter to that. Otherwise youd need to purchase an isolator block, which in its own way is an inverter of some sort. to connect all your batteries together for increase amprage and consistant voltage. does that make sence??
