Kuebeker
I will restrain my self from ranting.... but.... the simpler you make the installation process the more frustrating it becomes when you need to debug. I'm pretty sure Apple is laughing it's ass off at the hackingtosh community. The 3 auto installers, ######, myHack and Kakewalk, all make my Asus P5K premium WiFi/AP and my G73JH reboot at the start of the Grey Apple splash screen which the log shows ACPI table not found: SSDT.aml FADT: Restart Fix applied ! FADT: Using custom DSDT ! FADT: Restart Fix applied ! I guess the Auto Installers auto DSDT patches is screwing the installation process and since the online documentation is anemic I am asking for your help. Is there a boot file that leaves the DSDT patching alone and will only apply what I ask it? PS It is a royal pain in the ass and childish when you apply censorship to other hackintosh technologies. eep357
There is only one method of making an installer that gives you complete control over what goes into it. It's called making you own, and is by far the easiest and most reliable way. You shouldn't need a DSDT to boot the installer, you will need a valid SMbios, and a Chameleon based bootloader such as Enoch, FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUpowermanagement.kext. Any other additions will depend entirely on your hardware. Are you booting your installer from a system that already has OSX and Chameleon installed on an internal drive? If so, it's probably that drives DSDT your seeing it say is loaded and not any auto extract/patch feature. If it is also that internal drives bootloader that's starting up first, and is Chameleon 1819 or older, that will also be a problem and you will need to either boot direct from your installer by changing in bios, or update to newer version of Chameleon on your internal hard drive. Lols at the last line, as that which is censored is the biggest royal pain in the ass ever Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282000-108-auto-reboots-while-installing-at-applying-custom-dsdt-fadtfsdt-lines/#findComment-1845658 Share on other sites
