maury121
ok, fine, now there is another problem,i have start the disk utility and it take so much time for anything about HD,like verify, erase to zero, and i hear a repetitive click inside the HD,is that a bad news? (after some time i restart the mac and now i'm trying to install the os x)
Shaneee
The clicking noise may mean your HDD is on its way out. Keep a backup of your important data just in case. Hope you get it reinstalled.

Shaneee
Do you have another HDD you can try with?
Gringo Vermelho
If Disk Utility can't repair the drive you can try using testdisk (google it). If the drive makes strange noises it's time to replace it. Is possible install an Os X 10.5 from Windows 7 to a Macbook (...) Maybe using Target mode. Of course not, how would you run the OS X installer from Windows 7? You can use a Hackintosh to install OS X on a real Mac via Firewire target mode though. I have done it. Gringo Vermelho
Any drive will work, it's just an ordinary 2,5" hard drive, as you will see when you remove it.
