WinSucks_4ever
Since Lion, and future releases of OS X won't run on Core Duos, I'm forced to stay on Snow Leopard and kinda feel alone lol. Is Snow Leopard starting to get obsolete? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280381-is-snow-leopard-starting-to-get-obsolete/ Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
You got that backwards, it's not Snow Leopard that's becoming obsolete, it's your CPU.....as you pointed out yourself. So that's a strange question to ask. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280381-is-snow-leopard-starting-to-get-obsolete/#findComment-1831935 Share on other sites
cili0
Up to now, Snow Leopard is the finest piece of software that Apple ever released. Unfortunately, I was forced to upgrade to Lion because of iCloud. I hope that the software vendors will support SL as long as possible, even if the Mac App Store (with all its limitations and artificial constraints) is getting stronger and stronger. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280381-is-snow-leopard-starting-to-get-obsolete/#findComment-1831958 Share on other sites
Riley Freeman
I'm keeping Snow Leopard on my MacBook because of the spec. Lion just won't be fun on it and it's running just fine here with 10.6. But there is an increasing amount of software coming out now on the App Store that requires 10.7. I have my hackintosh for anything that won't run on the MacBook.
