What will the callisto drivers improve on my ATI9800PRO that’s already has Quartz Extreme, Core Image and OpenGL working ?

Should it improve my game play cause games are very sluggish now ?

And if not what can i do to improve my game play in Call of Duty and other games

Any help will be appreciated

No. Omni's Callisto drivers provide a Framebuffer (resolution changing), but not QE, CI, or OpenGL. You can however link Apple's QE/etc. libraries to the Callisto Framebuffer and then you get everything.

Slow games are probably a slow processor...I don't really know.

Honestly, somebody tell Omni to release the source if he's not going to develop them....

I did the Callisto_008 driver install but left out step 9

It changed the device id to my card but notthing changed

NO resolition change

Sitll have QE, CI, or OpenGL

but nothing changed

I did not do Step 9 cause it shows EDIE (CRT) setting for my monitor so did not do it

Was i wrong not to do Step 9 ?
