Rubituco
Hi guys... well, i already have a Hackintosh but I'm planning to build a new one in a G5case and i was doing a research and I couldn't find a really good and compatible motherboard like the one I'm using (GA-G31-ES2L). Can someone familiar tell me what motherboards are good to build my new hackintosh with an i5 or i7 ?( these processors are fully compatible ?) Should I really upgrade my system from the C2Q to an i7 ? Btw I'm just going to buy mobo, processor and memory. I'm gonna still using my airport extreme card, vga, etc etc Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278787-hackintosh-build-help/ Share on other sites
Phoenix2058
So as you see i use the Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 in combination with an I7 2600k which works flawless for me... also in a g5 case Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278787-hackintosh-build-help/#findComment-1818475 Share on other sites
eep357
pretty much can't go wrong with gigabyte, lots of resources available since it is most popular hackintosh mobo brand. next probably asus then evga. wether to upgrade or not is more personal choice, some may be happy with c2d for a while longer, others always need newest available and pay top dollar prices, I'm in the middle and prefer good compromise between price and performance with some future proofing so try to get upper mid-range hardware when buying. Best to have a few different models in mind to purchase incase the one your looking for is not available, don't want to get stuck buying one your unsure of and hoping it works fine.
