GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev1.3 / F11 i7-2700K 16GB G.Skill 1333MHz nvidia 8800gt ( still using HD3000 for installation) using USB bootstick with Cv2.1svn (r1913) , iMac12.1/12.2 in SystemProfiler with or without NullCPU.kext iget KP panic (cpu 0 caller 0xfffff7f8066293f) unsupported CPU: family =0x6, model =0x2a, stepping =0x7"@/SourceCache/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement -90/pmProcessor .c:210 ( I have no camera here, so i can't take any pics... ) AFAIK the 2600K and 2700K are the same family. I checked mine with CPU-Z and googled the same for an 2600K. I can't find any differences except for the 100MHz that the 2700K is running faster. Now NullCPU loads but followed by KP with panic (cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80002cd439): "commpage no match for last, next address ffff1780"@/sourceCache/xnu/xnu-1456.1.25osfmk/i386/commpage .c;324 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eep357 Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 any overclock on the cpu? any different with -x or can u at least get into single user mode without kp? maybe try without nullcpu while using patched dsdt and good smbios. I only ever use it during first install.
