iOmicron
I managed to enable full acceleration for my graphics card by putting my device ID into some kexts and setting GraphicsEnabler to no. It works great, but I immediately noticed something strange: when I put the mouse over the menu bars, they highlight purple. Before I got the graphics working they were blue as usual. Is it something to do with my monitor, or have I changed an option that made them turn purple? Edit: I tried calibrating the display and the menus look normal. In fact, the screenshot looks normal as well so it must be something to do with my monitor then? Phoenix2058
there is an option to change its color, you may check what you selected there... iOmicron
there is an option to change its color, you may check what you selected there... All my colour settings are default, like in your screenshot. Like I said in the edit, it's a monitor issue that can be fixed by calibrating. The strange thing is that it is only that specific shade used for the default highlights that turn purple, everything else looks fine. I've had no colour issues in any other operating system. iOmicron
Fixed it. Under Settings->Displays->Colours->Colour tab I unchecked the 'Show profiles for this display only' box and 4 more colour profiles appeared. I'm not sure what the difference is, but 'Generic RBG Profile' looks, and sounds, right. This makes the colours look normal again 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/277700-purple-menu-highlights-after-fully-enabling-graphics-card/#findComment-1810539 Share on other sites
