Hi all,

I've been trying to install OS X Lion on my HP dv7 4087 cl Entertainment Notebook. I'm using iATKOS L2 to install. The specs are as follows:

Intel Core i5-430M @ 2.27 GHz (Works with OS X)

Intel HD Graphics Accelerator (Works with OS X)

ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 with 512 MB of video memory (Found kexts on the 'net that work with Lion)

6 GB of RAM (works)

Realtek Ethernet (Works with iATKOS kexts)

Intel Wireless BGN 1000 (doesn't work)

I am pretty new to hackintoshing. The laptop has Windows 7 and Windows 8 installed already. Its drive is formatted as MBR, but I used iATKOS to format one of the partitions as HFS+. Anyway, iATKOS boots up into the installer as long as I use the boot flag "cpus=1." Then I customize the install and install Lion to the drive. But after the computer restarts, OS X gets stuck booting at the Apple logo spinner. I've tried 10 different installs with different kexts selected each time. I finally used Champlist to install the ATI kexts to the drive. Then I tried booting. My friend reccomended using safe mode ("-x+), so I tried that. When I boot up using "cpus=1 -x" , the Apple logo appears, but then a progress bar appears underneath it. It progresses to about 1/3, but then it disappears and gets stuck at the spinning Apple logo. Does anyone know why it won't boot?

Thanks,
