c0c0thecat
So yesterday my Lion system crashed and I discovered the kernal panic was in regards to the disk being corrupt (it was set up using iAtos) sorry for the spelling. I bought the hackintosh I should point out here: So I decided to go back and format the drive and start over with a clean version of Snow Leopard and stick with that as I'm not a fan of Lion. I've followed the steps exactly in the guy and using the latest ###### however I get this kernal panic before I even get to the set up page : Panic(cpu 0 caller 0x5600f3): “unable to find driver for this platform: \”ACPI\”.\n”@/Users/nawcom/Builds/xnu-1504.9.26/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp.1393 Debugger called : <panic> Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame: Return Address (4 potential args on stack) There are a pile of 0x523abda8 etc listed under it 7 in fact. I can list them if required. I've tried booting with graphic boost on and off, safe mode, busratio and so on. I'm really hopping to get this resolved other wise I'll have to give up Any help would be very welcomed, some system info : Gigabyte GA H55M-UD2H (brand new) Intel Core i3/550 2x3,2 GHz (Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology- brand new) Gigabyte Nvidia 860GTS 256MB DDR3 4 GB DDR3 Memory (brand new) 320GB HDD Seagate DVD RW Pioneer DVR 110 6x USB external + 6 internal 2x DVI plus SVHS plus graphics on processor (VGA/DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort) I am a bit of a noob so any advice please dumb down or tell me to suck eggs Have a good day all Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276917-kernel-panic-on-sl-install/ Share on other sites
