Hello there!..

I'm new here at osx86 and I want to be a part of the community..

I am currently using Dell Inspiron 1440.. as I'm browsing at the forums and installation guidelines there are no the dell products as mine..

the nearest model is dell inspiron 1420.. So I followed that installation guidelines..

I have successfully installed the iAtkos Snow Leopard 10.6.3 which is the distro.. but when I normally start the Mac OS X using dual boot by Easy BCD.. it says that i have to restart the computer again.. it always happened..

So I try to use the safe mode.. and it works...

my problem is how I will gonna fix it to make the normal start up to run?

This is my computer specs :

Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20 Ghz

Audio: Realtek RTL8101e/RTL8102f

Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4300 Series 512 MB

Network wireless : Broadcom 4312

Memory: 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM

Graphics and Audio not working.. I'm still trying to make it work..

But my very problem is I can't make my Mac OS X to get to the normal startup.. only safe boot..

How can I start working with audio and graphics if I can't do the normal start up? haha

It only says that I have to reset my Computer again and again...

I think my problem is not with the booting or anything.. when I run the diagnostic message.. I got kernel panic with the cpus..

any suggestions??

It would help if you included some of the messages from -v, particularly the last few.

Disabling kext files from within Safe Mode and retrying without Safe Mode is likely to be your best bet for figuring things out, assuming it's not a basic incompatibility (though note that I am quite new at this).

That is one of my problems in attempting this OS X to run.. i am not so sure how to disable kext files from boot. I am using Easy BCD 2.1 to dual boot.. I will post one of my pics ASAP..

Just want to know if anyone wants to help in this forum...

Disabling kexts = move them out of the extensions folder + rebuild the cache:

After moving a kext out of the extensions folder, run Terminal.app and type sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions (enter your password when prompted).

Run console.app, check kernel.log for clues.
