ozgurcann
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I want to install mac os snow leopard on my pc[specifications are below] so I downloaded a dmg file of the retail dvd of mac os 10.6 from torrent. I used Empire EFI both v1.08 and v1.08Legacy to boot. I booted with empire efi, then change the disk with snow leopard and press f5 but nothing happened after that. Only a black screen cames out and computer did nothing. I could not pass to the installation screen. I changed sata configuration to AHCI mode before installation like on tutorial videos. Please someone help me, I really need mac os. Thank you. ozgurcann
I convert it to iso with PowerIso and burn with Nero on win7 PC. Do you think the problem is dvd? Or bios settings? My dvd writer reads the snow leopard dvd first. "Install MacOsX" logo appears on the Empire EFI boot screen. Then after I press enter, it did nothing. I see some people on forums or youtube videos can install like this way. They boot with Empire EFI then change disk with macos dvd their pc make some processes... Mine does not. Only black screen Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276665-installation-problem-mac-os-106-retail-on-a-asus-p5ld2/#findComment-1802424 Share on other sites
