pat_ty
Apple just released the new update for Front Row 1.3. I'm curious that can we safely use that version on 10.4.7? Is the installation process will be the same? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27649-apple-front-row-13/ Share on other sites
brewno
I just installed it, working perfectly. (Installed it using Pacifist, then edited .kext using this method). Nice and easy. pat_ty
After reading that topic, could you please tell me more information about installing with Pacifist? You just open .pkg with Pacifist and click at "Install" button. Is that correct? brewno
You'll open the pkg using Pacifist then select the last 2 files (not the first one). Install it. Then log off and if you have already edited the kext (added those 2 lines), your Front Row will be running. =) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27649-apple-front-row-13/#findComment-188928 Share on other sites
pat_ty
Thank you so much for your reply. However, could you please tell me what exactly those files. I don't want to take a risk. Last time I have to reinstall the OS because of this installation. mkprk
Whenever I use Pacifist to install it, everything works fine. But when I reboot, Front Row isnt in the keyboard shortcuts. Im using 10.4.6, and Front Row 1.3. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27649-apple-front-row-13/#findComment-192294 Share on other sites
