Hello,

Introduction

first of all I want to say that I've read all forum rules and know about "still waiting device" posts are forbidden but my case is the only.

So please help me. I really don't know where can I ask for help if not here.

My Hardware:

msi pt890 neo-v2 board

Intel dual core 4300 (not sure of number)

GeForce Nvidia 7300 LE

AC97 built in sound card

SATA HDD

IDE HDD

DVD ROM

Bios V3.4

DDR 266MHz - 2GB

The problem:

I can't manage to install Lion from custom .iso because the installation stucks in initDevice failed and says still waiting device all time.

I know it's very common error and there're a lot of solutions(I've checked). However no one solved my case.

The point is that before installing Lion I had successfuly installed Leopard. But it's something wrong with it and I decided to install Lion.

So I have leopard.iso and lion.iso. And Leopard installs with no problem.

When installing Leopard, there's step to choose where to install it. And you can use disk utility to partition. That's what I've done.

I have partitioned SATA HDD (the ide is disabled) into 2 partitions. One is free space and other GUUID Partition(disk0s2) .

OK, then I proceed instaling lion with rd=disk0s2 ncpi=0x2000 -v . Nothing! All the same. I've also tried disk1s2 and disk0s0. No result.

My bios settings not allow AHCI. I just have IDE or RAID. I select RAID. The bios and jumper on HDD, are all in the same state as during Leopard installation.

What can I do? How can I copye files from snowLeo to lion iso and make it work?

Please help , I really need it.
