Hi all, looking for a bit of help. Ive been using iAtkos S3 V2 (10.6.3) for a while and decided to update to iAtkos L2 (10.7.2) so I did a full clean install with the basic requirements for install, pretty much the same I used for 10.6.3 and after a successful installation I get the following problem on boot using -v -x -cpus=1, any help appreciated

Something to do with your AMD/ATi graphics card and the installed frame buffer.

Try using single user mode to remove/move all AMD/ATi related kexts.

Something like:

mkdir /Users/Me/Desktop/Kext\ Backup
sudo mv -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ATI*.* /Users/Me/Desktop/Kext\ Backup/

then reboot with -f, rebuild caches etc.

thanks James, I did some searching after your hint and found out what the problem is.... you are right, its the ATI card and legacy issues with SL 2.6.8 and Lion, I found some threads on here to get it sorted so hopefully Ill get it working.... thanks. Im running 2.6.7 hence I didnt encounter the problem before.
