PookyMacMan
Try a retail install. That will be much, much less painful. If you are unsure on how to do this, I have a guide in my signature.
LiskoFINAL
Does this card works in Lion 10.7.3? What is the best card mPCI-e for osx86? I have to buy one and I want to buy a good card.
PookyMacMan
Buy a real AirPort card. Those will obviously work OOB and perfectly. And in answer to your question, (almost) any Atheros or Broadcom WiFi card will work.

LatinMcG
any broadcom or atheros wont work... some dont apple branded cards dont always work example is ar5bxb72 on a dell laptop wont work.. but the real apple ar9280 might. the trick to ar9285 is the firmware in the appleairport kext version 4 works.. version 2 doesnt to make it work in 10.7.3 u need 10.7.2 io80211familly

vince.vin37
Hello, Now I taped pin 20 with a very small piece of paper (pin 20) with adhesive tape (transparent adhesive tape covers adjacent pins, like 16 to 24) I had no better luck, so I don't know if my attempt was effective... In Windows, The only thing that changed is that my Wifi Hotspot from SFR provider (french affiliate for Vodafone), litterally says "Go Away" in English sometimes, instead of "type your creditentials to log in", in French, like I'm trying to hack their hotspot. LatinMcG
i noticed if u do dsdt fix for ar9285 with device id 30 it might work as it forces firmware ver 4 to load not 2. 2a that uses ver 2 .. id 30 uses v4. which some 9285 and up need.
