Howdy all - I develop games for the iPhone on my mac mini, but desperately want to do the same by installing OSx86 on my laptop (Compaq C500). The catch for me is, it has to be snow leopard. It's gonna be tough! Anyway, looking forward to enjoying my stay here! ;)

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting something here, yet I'm not a new member. I've been around for almost a year already. I've been able to build a wonderful system thanks to this forum. I hope I can contribute more with this incredible forum.

Special thanks to tweak41 and iFabio!!!

Hi everyone,

My name is Andrew and I've been trying my first Hackintosh. I've been mostly a Linux and Windows user (the latter only out of necessity, I much prefer Linux in general) for years but I finally got the itch to try a Hack.

I had OSX on my old iBook G4 so it isn't totally new to me but I wanted to get rid of Windows on my main desktop PC while still being able to take advantage of Steam etc. And I think this can do it for me.

I have to point out also, my first post on here was in the ATI section, where I cannot post again oddly, I don't know how I managed the first time but anyway I'd like to say, disregard my post on there

As I finally decided to reinstall all over again completely clean and follow the 3800 series ATI thread instructions to the absolute letter, and what do you know... I have QE/CI with Sapphire 3870! Finally.

Really goes to show if something recommends starting clean, you should do so.

Hey There, This is Overdrive, and this is, I think the first post to InsanelyMac, the ever-growing community ;)

Feel Free to Visit My Blog about Idevices, OSx, OSx Apps, Customization and Music Production, very carefully selected and wide-range of links down there :

Treefriend here. I have a real mac and also a hackintosh. I've been looking at InsanelyMac for a couple of years and ben registered for one. It's a great site.

I have created a guide and DSDT for a motherboard that I think will be useful for other members. How many posts do I need before I can create a topic? Could I post it in the New Users's forum and then have the topic moved to the Tutorials/Genius Bar?
