kulos
Hi Using the 10.7.2 kexts/plugins, Adobe Flash player reports "missing plugin" in Safari. I tried kexts/plugins (NVDAResman.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext, GeForceVADriver.bundle, GeForceGLDriver.bundle, GeForceGA.plugin, GeForce.kext) from MacBookProVideoUpdate1.0.dmg (Oct. 24) but the problem still remains. Problem is solved however using the DP4 driver (NVDAResman.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext, GeForceVADriver.bundle, GeForceGLDriver.bundle, GeForceGA.plugin, GeForce.kext) Has anyone a more specific solution to the problem? Does anyone know what the status of the 10.7.3 kexsts/plugins will be? (Same as MacBookProVideoUpdate1.0.dmg?) My system is: EP35-DS4 Q6600 DSDT EFI string for Nvidia 8800GTX Latest (I think) Chameleon boot loader Regards Kulos Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/274326-nvidia-driver-in-1072-and-flash-player-any-news-regarding-1073/ Share on other sites
kulos
Unfortunately 10.7.3 kexts are not better, flash player shows missing plugin in safari and I get random kernel panics (screen saver?)... back to DF4 kexts Kulos Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/274326-nvidia-driver-in-1072-and-flash-player-any-news-regarding-1073/#findComment-1793649 Share on other sites
-aKy-
Its because of your 8800GTX, only 8xxx Cards are affected by this. Worked well under snowy but not with Lion. At least i swapped my card, got a GTX 570 now and Problems are gone.
