Hi

So my card (Gigabyte GTX 560Ti 1GB) didn't get recognized after following this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=260074&st=0

Since the guide suggested that you install ATY_Init if your card doesn't get recognized, that's what I did. And after that I rebooted, the Apple Logo was still in the wrong resolution, but when it was gone and my desktop is supposed to appear my monitor didn't recieve any signal at all. I thought the card maybe sent the signals through the other DVI port or something like that, so I switched from DVI1 to DVI2, but the same thing still happend.

Does anyone have an idea of what I need to do in order to fix this?

When you get to the bootscreen (im assuming you have chameleon) there is a timer bar that goes before it boots to OSX. when the timer (progress bar) appears type in "GraphicsEnabler=No" with out quotes and press enter. If that lets you in then go ahead and un do what ever you did

You may also try booting via ##### or Andy's depending

Moving forward, its always a good idea to make a carbon clone of your drive when messing with kexts or performing updates

That didn't work. :/ I still get no signal.

If you can't boot into your partition, you have to somehow delete the .kext causing the issue and try again.

So, just delete it or move it to desktop.

Alright, but do you have any idea of how to solve the actual problem? :/
