etsolow
Has anyone had any luck getting 5.1 surround sound out of the Mac Mini running Vista RC1? Everything including Aero and booting with the EFI partition in place works for me, except for that. I get sound but not 5.1. When I look at my speaker setup, only "stereo" is available. I've tried with the native Vista drivers, and the BootCamp 1.1 drivers, no difference. Any thoughts? etsolow
Welcome to the forum! You're using digital speakers, right? Hey thanks! I'm running optical to my stereo receiver. I just want to pass Dolby Digital when playing DVDs. (This works under OS X on the mini, and I'm 90% sure it worked under a previous Vista beta.)
