disabled & removed dvd controller to boot from external hard drive and nothing tried also with usb and nothing so its not the dvd controller Specs: integrated 802.11b/g/n + bluetooth 3.0 + hs combo intel graphics media accelerator 500 intel atom processor n455 1.66 ghz 2 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram 64gb solid state adata high definition audio integrated stereo speakers integrated microphone combo stereo headphone/mic jack

What I meant is that your ATA controller is not detected. What boot disc/distro are you using?

 

I personally recommend the OSx86 ModCD because it has a multitude of supported PATA/SATA chipsets.
