k4r1m2
I think I fixed my problem with the AGPM.kext edit. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/272824-gtx-460-1gb-random-freeze-after-patch/#findComment-1774890 Share on other sites
JrCs
k4r1m2: are you fix the freeze ? if yes, can you give use what you changed in AGPM.kext ? Gringo Vermelho
He didn't. There is no real fix for this. You can prevent it from happening by running VLC hidden in the background, repeating a video. Or CUDA Clockrate: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=256652 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/272824-gtx-460-1gb-random-freeze-after-patch/#findComment-1780802 Share on other sites

Gringo Vermelho
Meh, I'll try it one more time, maybe it works better in Lion. I've had no luck with modified BIOS with modified P-states or AGPM edits on Snow Leopard. Gringo Vermelho
Didn't try anything yet, when running CUDA Clockrate in the background after while I forget that this problem exists. EddyMac
OK. I had been hoping that my reinstall of Lion had fixed my video problems, since it seemed to fix the nVidia drivers. However, I was using iMovie last night (without CUDA Clockrate running) and got some pretty bad screen glitches, but it didn't freeze the computer. So it looks like it may be half fixed (insomuch as it didn't lock the computer up). I guess I'll just keep running CUDA Clockrate for now.
