davidm71
Hi, Anyone have an SSDT for a 2600K with C-States cooked in? Or are SSDT specific to each individual cpu? Thanks. Oh.. I've already tried putting in EnableCStates and P states into the plist file but that doesn't work and fails to create c + p states.. LatinMcG
its more specific to cpu stepping. the CFGD line would be different. u can dump it with acpidump in linux Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/272781-ssdt-wanted-for-a-2600k/#findComment-1774106 Share on other sites
davidm71
Well I did a dump a couple weeks ago using a script I found somewhere in Ubuntu and have three SSDT files. One IST, one CST, and one CPUAMI file. Somewhere in there must be the data I need to put in from the CFGD line. For now I tried using DHP's streamlined ssdt and it works in that Turbo mode gets enabled but MSRDumper only finds two p states: 16 + (34 or 38 depending on ssdt)... Thanks. Note: I tried following guides where they suggest you enable voodoopstate kext and run some utility to find p states but could not get it to run without crashing in Lion. Those guides must have been for SL. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/272781-ssdt-wanted-for-a-2600k/#findComment-1774207 Share on other sites
