sunnyd47
Downloaded and installed just fine but the screen on my 1680 x 1050 20.1 inch vaio is set within "preferences/Display" at only 1024 x 768. What do I have do to change these settings and allow me more suitable resolution choices (there is currently only the one resolution 1024 x 768 available). Sonicmixmaster
your display adapter was not detected by the install so you are using a generic driver. I had that happen to me with 10.6.3 Leo. you need to look around to see if anyone else gotten your particular display adapter working. currently im experiencing no sound with 10.7.2 but my display works fine and need to find a sound driver for my audio chip. sunnyd47
I have an org.chameleon.boot.plist which says the following (I had already tried changing the resolution already as you will see) = <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1680x1050x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>No</string> <key>UseNvidiaROM</key> <string>Yes</string> Any further advice appreciated. sunnyd47
As an update, I have decided to limp back to Windows, too many instructions from all over the net that go in circles, get hijacked and leave ones my head in a total freefall kext spin! I will wait and buy a real Mac as and when I can.
Noam AA
from what i know intel x4500 isn;t supported, you need an external GPU (like nVidia or ATI)
