My previous osx86 partition is 20GB, right after the partition of XP , i wanna resize the osx86 partition to a bigger size, i have another hardisk, and i wanna move both xp and osx86 partition to a new disk, how can i accomplish this easily without reinstall everything?? Thank you~

You can use acronis true image and tell it to make a drive CLONE...

They also make another product called: MIGRATE EASY

Both of these products contain the software needed to make the clone.

To begin, clone the drive and when done, use Parition Magic to make a partition of UNALLOCATED and UNFORMATTED SPACE. When done that, tell it to merge your OSx86 partition and the newly partitioned unallocated and unformatted partition together. It should work. If not, it's ok because you'll have your original disk untouched! :D

Another trick, make another unformatted and unallocated partition.

Tell OSX to format that partition. Then use Partition Magic in Windows or Partition Magic for Dos.

Merge your OSX partition and the newly formatted partition together.

Boot to OSX and enjor your new free space.

Hope this helps a little, I am sure someone here knows a better way...but it's all I got atm...

really? that's going to be sad

Another problems, do you know how can change the os x partition (af) form logical back to primary , after i clone the hardisk , it changes to logical , i can't change by partition magic too ....

Thanks ~~

Hdds can only have 4 active partitions from what I have read...

Using Partition Magic you should be able to right click the drive and at the bottom option move the menu over to SET ACTIVE.

If that doesn't work you have a bigger problem than when you first started.

Thanks for you all , i'hv finally success repartition into a bigger size without re-install

i don't have acronis disk , so i use partition manager instead, i think this a useful software that can even change drive type same as diskpart ~

another problems not related to this, my mac os x will hang at the desktop after booting and without any response sometimes, wt' actually the probems is , anyone knows?

Thanks :(
