jondav2006
I created the installer for 10.7.2 with Nawcom's patch using the guidelines provided in this guide. I get through the pre-installation steps smoothly; only when it starts to copy the files that I get an error saying that there was an error in the (target) disk and aborts. I'll try to post a screen/photo if possible. Has anyone else gotten it working ?
tlac
I have the same issue. You can save the installer log It looks like the 10.7.2 nawcom framework mod does not work.
bigpoppa206
Do you absolutely have to have MBR? Are you splitting a partition to also run Windows or something?
tlac
It would be easier. I have one hdd with 4 partitions (debian squeeze, win7, snow leopard, data). Of course there are severeal workarounds. Eq. install 10.7.1 and update. But I'd still like to see a solution for the original problem.
tlac
Perhaps we should check iatkos l2 and extract the proper files.
Crabhunter
One long winded way to do it if you have a spare HD is to install it to a GUID partitioned drive and then use disk utility to restore that to your MBR partitioned drive. It might even be possible to install it to a usb stick then restore that back to your proper HD. Mike
