Mohamed Khairy
notes about mountain lion i don't feel huge changes between it and lion it is just two or three new programs new and small changes on shape don't like them much may it will be more better on future for setup use this boot loader http://www.osx86.net/view/2585-chameleon_2.1_r1924_-_mountain_lion_[updated].html and replace my fix by this utility http://www.osx86.net/view/2514-latest_kext_utility_10.8_ready.html about the applehda you can use the 10.7.3 one till i patch new one as new one is more more so so complicated sleep not work as we disable appleintelpowermanagment kext the patched next cause panic so we will wait little i prefer that is you want to setup mountain lion to setup it beside lion not on it as lion is more stable you may notice some artifact of mountain it is popular enjoy testing
radiking
noway i am happy with lion i will wait until stable release of M L and your stable guide

Amadeu_Modigliani
need details about cable is only cable replacement or with screen also form where you got gray cable also when you had gone to dell support what had you said to them Changed throughout the screen. The only thing different is that I saw the handle of the new screen was gray. But do not open the screen to see the brand. I suggest that you contact Dell and ask to replace the LCD, but make a mark on the cable before to see if exchanged.
Mohamed Khairy
you did complete screen replacement why ? was it broken ? for whom have freezes can try to see the color of cable and search on dell store for cable with gray cable and test

LinK14
I mean the screen brightness. How do you manage to make it work ? I don't want to use your VoodooPS2Controller as the Vostro is not the same. But I want to know where do you find the "patch" for it, or if there is a way to patch the kext by myself.
Mohamed Khairy
first check if brightness works on system pref --> displays then you can use the linked voodoops2controller will work for you which kext you use for your touchpad .. voodoops2mouse ? for source check here #
