Gcrumpets
Ok, so im trying to install osx on my computers 2nd harddrive, using the Marklar-tiger dvd image, the tutorial i read said to patch it and i did so, i checked the MD5 and it was exactly what it said it should be but....when i go to boot from the dvd it goes to the grey screen with the apple logo and the loading wheel and after about a minute of loading it stops and displays an error or stop symbol(circle with a line through it) right ontop of the apple and just stops there. so im just wondering what the problem is, is it with the dvd or is it a hardware imcompatability issue? thanks for any help provided. np101137
when it asks if you want to press f8, do so and enter "-x -v" without quotes. Also the marklar image is old and you should use at least 10.4.4 when the markler image is 10.4.1...
